summer + adam | palm springs wedding planner | ace hotel wedding

We had a destination wedding in Palm Springs this weekend- woohoo!  Summer and Adam held their celebration for 130 of their closest friends and family at the Ace Hotel & Swim Club, and it was truly a weekend to remember.  They started with an afternoon rehearsal, followed by a large taco party rehearsal dinner that evening. Yesterday, we celebrated from 4:30pm to 1am!  It was an amazing dance party.  This morning, they hosted a farewell brunch as well.  I absolutely love Palm Springs, and think it is a great, quaint town with lots of rich history and retro stylings that make for the perfect destination wedding city. Before I get to share the sure-to-be-awesome professional photos from Jesse and Whitney at Our Labor of Love, I had to post some iPhone shots I took during the wedding.

The beautiful flowers were done by Primary Petals, and were full of color and texture- which was something that ran through the whole wedding.  Briana and I had a blast with all the details.  The bride trusted us enough to hand us her box of items (or several boxes... and some bags) and let us run with it.  This is where our creativity can shine through!

Oh, and this has absolutely nothing to do with the wedding, but everything about the Ace Hotel is fun- even their robes!
